about

Rooted in a deep respect for craftsmanship, each piece is designed and made in Tarinii Martinsen's Oslo studio, where the process is as intentional as the garments themselves. Nothing is rushed, only a steady rhythm of making, shaping, and refining.

Fabrics are chosen with care certified organic, deadstock, and recycled materials that carry their own histories. Nothing is wasted. Remnants from one piece find their way into another, creating an ever-evolving archive of textiles that stretch beyond a single collection.

The goal is not just to make clothing, but to extend the life of what already exists, to reimagine and repurpose rather than discard. The studio runs on a made to order philosophy, a deliberate move away from excess, ensuring that each garment has purpose before it is even sewn.

Process & Materials

It is a process that values patience, precision, and the connection between creator and wearer. This is clothing meant to be lived in, to evolve with the body, to hold stories within its seams.

Tarinii is fuelled by a pull between what's intimate and what's vast—a desire to learn from worlds beyond and to find those rare, shared threads that connect people who'd otherwise remain strangers.
